The study of multiresponse models from the point of view of optimal design of experiments becomes harder when considering a general (two-way) covariance structure in the data. In this work, some analytical results will be obtained for this case, which will be applied to a chemical case study using the well-known exponential covariance structure for the longitudinal relation between the samples. Changes on the assumed covariance structure lead to new lines of research.
